Peace Project
Sr. Paulette and the Sisters of St. Francis are involved in a Peace Project. "Imagining a World without War: an outgrowth of passion for justice and peace, a world without war, a world without violence, and a faith going forward in action." Hefty goals, but through presentations, word of mouth and publicity, the sisters hope to do just that...make a more peaceful Tiffin, Ohio. On March 12, Sr. Paulette came and talked about her trips to Palestine and her Peace Project with the students in Team 1 and team 2. She challenged them to be more peaceful and gave them a sheet of 50 they could do to help make Tiffin and our area more peaceful.
On June 23, there will be a peace parade here in Tiffin, Ohio, and Bridges has been working on a peace banner to carry in that parade. Here is a sneak peek. With a hand from all of us, we CAN have a more peaceful community!!!
